Here at Jacksonville Reclaimed Wood we feel strongly about preserving the wood and giving it a second lease on life. By using reclaimed wood we are keeping it out of our landfills and saving a valuable resource.
Most of our wood is sourced from within a 25-mile radius. We work directly with some of Jacksonville’s most respected tree companies. When we get a call about an available tree we go to the location and evaluate the tree.
What kind of wood are you interested in? Well, what do you have?
If the tree can be reclaimed we will cut it on site or haul away for cutting at our wood yard. We then cut and mark the slabs for inventory. This ensures the best quality of wood that the tree has to offer. Our wood is then dried for 12–18 months and then kiln dried before we present it to you as high quality slabs.
When visiting our warehouse in downtown Jacksonville you will find an assortment of local woods such as Red Oak, Live Oak Loblolly Pine, Pecan, Cypress, Sycamore and others. Whether you are looking for a live edge slab, beam or mantel piece our wood is ready for you to use.
If you are having a tree removed and don’t want to see it wasted please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
